Bengaluru is hosting one of the most influential super three-day congregations of personnel from the fields of cutting-edge technologies and artificial intelligence that are transforming the arts, films, and entertainment spheres.

Thursday the 27th will see Bengaluru kicking off an amazing confluence of cutting-edge technology and the various art forms in the country’s premier AVGC-XR conference. Those coming together will include professionals and artists from animation, visual effects, gaming, comics, and extended reality.

Hosting all of them over three days will be the Karnataka government’s IT/BT department headed by the State Minister for IT, BT and Panchayati Raj, Priyank Kharge. The event will focus on fostering innovation, facilitating knowledge-sharing, and encouraging strategic collaborations. The GAFX 2025 reinforces Bengaluru’s position as the world’s Number One hub for AVGC-XR and it will be the driving force behind India’s global leadership in immersive media and entertainment.

GAFX 2025 unfolds trends in AI-driven visual arts and cognitive sciences which are transforming ideas into immersive experiences. From generative art to interactive narratives, creators now craft stories dynamically, engaging audiences in ways never before possible.

Some 20,000 professionals and artists from across the country are expected to participate in the three-day event, which is expected to become one of the most influential gatherings for creators, developers, investors, studios, and enthusiasts from the AVGC-XR ecosystem.

The theme for GAFX 2025 is the “Future of Immersion: EXPERIENCE. EXPLORE. DISRUPT.”

This underscores the event’s commitment to furthering the frontiers of creativity and technology. Attendees will experience the power of immersive technologies in storytelling, from real-time rendering breakthroughs to the transformative potential of virtual and augmented reality.

This year’s edition promises several firsts – a public-access expo and creative zone, immersive conference sessions with world leaders, an innovation zone, investor connect, and the live finals of an esports national tournament.
