Bengaluru Among Top Cities for Digital Payment Transactions in H2 2024: Worldline India

Bengaluru has emerged as a frontrunner, among the top five cities in terms of digital payment by volume and value. The capital city of Karnataka accounts for 20 percent of total transaction volume, up from 15 percent in 2023 and 18 percent of total transaction value, marking a significant year-on-year increase from 14 percent.

Releasing its latest analysis of digital transactions processed by them in second half of 2024, the Wordline, a global leader in payment services, said India was witnessing a spike in digital payments.  Bengaluru tops the list and following Bengaluru are the cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad in terms of higher digital payment activity.
