An Inspirational Journey –  for Less Privileged Children and Marginalized Communities

On Children’s Day, Raindropss Charity Foundation, a renowned non-profit organization dedicated to social impact and inclusivity, along with Anandam and VGP Ulaga Tamil Sangam is set to host its annual “Vaanamae Ellai” initiative, a unique flight trip experience designed for 30 children from shelter homes, including Sevalaya NGO, Anandam Education Centre, Anandam Special School, CHES Ananda Ilam, as well as members from marginalized communities, such as transgender individuals from Thozhi NGO and the visually challenged.

The journey begins from Chennai Airport on November 14, ending in Salem, where Dr. Brindha Devi IAS, District Collector of Salem, will warmly welcome the children at Salem Airport. This special occasion celebrates inclusion, dreams, and possibilities, with esteemed personalities accompanying young travelers to make it an unforgettable journey.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Ismail, a prominent Organic Scientist and Member of the State Planning Commission, Music Director and Goodwill Ambassador of Raindropss A.R. Raihanah, Raindropss Founder and Managing Trustee Aravind Jayabal, along with Raindropss trustees and members will participate in this memorable journey with the children, motivating them to believe that anything is possible.

On arrival in Salem, the group will head to Yercaud, where an overnight stay and a visit to several scenic attractions await. The itinerary includes Yercaud Boat House, Shervoys Point, Peeku Park, and other attractions, offering the children a refreshing and educational outdoor experience. The journey concludes with a scenic train ride back to Chennai in November.
