Dayananda Sagar University hosts innovators conclave @ Nasa Space Apps Challenge
The prestigious Dayanand Sagar University hosteed hundreds of technology innovators from across the globe for a congregation at the campus for a two-day conclave of collaborative projects in the arena of space.
The Event was NASA Space Apps Challenge 2024, hosted by the Dayanand Sagar university over Octber 5 and 6 at the sprawling campus. Vice President, International Affiars, Dayanand Sagar University, Supriya Mathew, said “In the first edition itself, we hosted more than 3,700 partricipants, and we hope to host more than 10,000 participants in the second edition due next year.”
The event brought together, innovators, scientists, engineers, students and technology enthusiasts from 300 cities across the globe. They worked round the clock for 48 hours, collaborating to solve real-life challenges in space exploration and earth sciences. The data and information they worked with was all the NASA data was already available in the public domain.
